Outlook gives TWO reminders for ONE appointment

User has Outlook 2007 on WinXP SP2 and all is well except.. when she creates a new appointment and schedules a reminder for it, she gets the reminder as expected, but it has 2 entries for the same reminder.  To clarify, only one reminder dialog box opens, but the reminder info is given twice... see the attachment for pic.  If you click on each and open the item, it appears to be the same reminder and they are identical.  She only uses one calendar and the appointment is made and reminder received on the same machine - all local application, and just Outlook - no 3rd party software interacting with Outlook.  Can't find any settings that would prevent this -- or allow it for that matter... doesn't seem possible or logical, as if it's a bug in the software.  Any ideas on how I can remedy this?  Thanks.
