Internet Connection error dialogue box popup every few minutes "Your request cannot be completed..."

I am not sure which program is causing this error to come up about every 5-10 minutes: Internet Connection: Your request cannot be completed because the service could not be found or did not respond. I use FireFox,  XP, and Outlook 2003 with Exchange Server. Thank you!

My first guess would be that it is something (probably your outlook)
trying to access the internet to look for new mail or Updates to a program, like AV, or an Add-on in Firefox that wants to update.

But we may need quite a bit more info if you would like more help.

How do you connect to internet?
Is this Work computer or personal computer?
Are you administrator on this machine? Or do you have administrative access at least?
Grab a copy of Process Explorer,
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653.aspx
run it and when you get this error, use the little Radar Icon (next to the Magnifying Glass, in the Process Explorer toolbar)  to Find Windows Process (Drag the Radar to that Error Window). It will either point you to the Process calling the Error, or the Process trying to access the net.

While you are on the above page, grab TCPView and run that also, eventually you'll see something trying to hit the net, http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb897437.aspx

You can also go to Start->Run and type in
eventvwr.msc
Scroll through the Application or System logs for any erros or warnings.
