Active Directory Query-based Distribution Group

Hello Experts,

Our Active Directory structure contains 2 important OUs: Reporters and Staff.
Staff OU includes all local in-house staff with Exchange accounts.
Reporters OU includes only contacts with external email address. (e.g. @hotmail.com, @yahoo.com, @gmail.com)

My problem:
We have a Query-based distribution group for the Reporters OU called "All Company Reporters".
Gathers all contacts from Reporters OU.

All of a sudden a couple managers from the Staff OU, want to be included in all emails that go out to "All Company Reporters".

How do I go about this without transferring the managers from the Staff OU to the Reporters OU.

The Staff OU has many GPO settings, which Reporters OU does not.

We would like to take a cleaner route instead of adding contacts into the Reporters OU.

I cannot take the user accounts out of the Staff OU.

Is there any way of  including users from the Staff OU into the "All Reporters" query based dist. Group?
Ok, I am firing up one of my SBS2003 virtual machines to play around.  i will get back to you in a few minutes.
Use the second suggestion offered by thecureis.  Create a new Distribution Group in the Reporters OU and add the managers to it.  (Make sure you add mail-enabled groups to your Query-Based DG).   When you create the distro group in the Reporters OU and add the managers to it, the managers will remain in the Staff OU and still receive the group policy from that OU.
Yep, thats what i was just playing around with, like Paka said remember to ad mail-enabled groups in the query.
why not change your queries to use attributes?
How do I change the query to use attributes? Im not too advanced on query-based distro. groups.

PAKA & TheCureIs: I don't mind adding the Group to the Reporters OU, the only problem is that we have multiple query-based distro. groups, that these managers want to be added to.

So I do not want to go into every single OU and add the Distribution Group for managers.

At the end, I will end up with 10 OUs having the same Group.

The managers asked to be added to: "All Reporters", "All Videographers", "All XXX", and so on....Each represents its own OU.
in the properties of your group query - you can set custom attributes which then look at the account itself, which ever attributes are there, it simply takes the account and adds it to a group
Jay_Jay70: Can you give me an example of the string I would use to put in the attribute field. Also do I use the attribute field of the user account, or the Group Query?
um yeah - but you already closed this yeah?
