Ports For Exchange Server 2003

fingwong asked
Last Modified: 2008-07-26
Hi All

I have a SBS 2003 machine sitting behind a firewall that is also running my exchnage server.  Just a quick one, am I being sufficient enough by only allowing port 25 to be forwarded to for email purposes?  Eg do I need to open up IMAP4 and POP ports as well.  At present I have SMTP (25) and the IMAp port open, and only want to close the IMAP one down if its unnecessary, as I want everyone to still receive emails.

Thanks everyone
