BART PE bootable USB. Wil boot some PCs and not others

I have created a bootable BART PE USB stick. It boots up a HP nw 8220 laptop without any problems. When I try to boot a HP DC7700 desktop. It does not work. I have disabled all availble boot options other than USB and it then comes up with a non system disk error.

How can this be. Surely if it boots one PC it should boot another.

Any suggestions?
