I am trying to setup a domain trust between two domains. They are not in the same forest. They are at two different locations. I have the domain trust in place however I can't connect using the trust cause of a DNS issue. It can't locate the DC. The problem I believe is I am in sample1.domain1.com and connecting to sample2.domain2.com however in sample2.domain2.com we have a dns entry for domain1.com. I am unable to add a conditional forwarding in because of this. Does anything know of a way to solve this issue? Hope that was easy to understand.
