Another problem you might see is this computer will not show up in &quot;My network Places&quot; This is also a result of a netbios problem. In this case, there is no routing the browser service over DNS. Instead, you have to use WINS as the transporter.<br />

I am having a problem with my Windows XP sp3 client trying to get a WPA2 preferred network from Group Policy. &nbsp;I can see it in the preferred network list but under authenication it is not set at all. &nbsp;<br />
I have done gpupdate and it is running SP3 so it has the updates. &nbsp;<br />

When I do a rsop wireless settings don't even show whats up with that?? &nbsp; <br />
<br />
So it is getting the name but not the authentication settings.<br />

Problem with WPA2 Preferred Network from Group Policy
