SQL Server 2005 replication subscriber missing indexes

Last Modified: 2011-10-19
We have a SQLServer 2005 db using snapshot replication. The tables in the database we are publishing to do not have any indexes save for the primary key.

We have created the matching indexes in the receiving database multiple times, they disappear after the next replication event.

What am I missing? Is it functioning this way by design?

You need to replicate indexes along the Table, other wise indexes will be dropped when next replication starts.

Open the Article properties window and set Copy Indexes to True as in the image attached.
