Exporting Data from SQL2005 to Access using the SQL Server Agent
Hi Experts,
I have created a package(SSIS) with multiple Data Flow Tasks, I run this package through the SQL Server Agent everyday. Today the package failed after 4min at a Data Flow Task that's almost at the finish of the pakage. I restarted the job and it failed within 6seconds, the error I got is:
Code: 0xC0202009 Source: AllSuppliers OLE DB Destination [351] Description: SSIS Error Code DTS_E_OLEDBERROR. An OLE DB error has occurred. Error code: 0x80004005. End Error Error: 2008-07-09 09:54:32.19 Code: 0xC0209029 Source: AllSuppliers OLE DB Destination [351] Description: SSIS Error Code DTS_E_INDUCEDTRANSFORMFAIL UREONERROR . The "input "OLE DB Destination Input" (364)" failed because error code 0xC020907B occurred, and the error row disposition on "input "OLE DB Destination Input" (364)" specifies failure on error. An error occurred on the specified object of the specified component. There may be error messages posted before this with more information about the failure. End Error Error: 2008-07-09 09:54:32.19 Code: 0xC0047022 Source:... The package execution fa... The step failed.
What the Data Flow Tasks do is to send SQL Tables to Access, the first step of the Package is to clean all the Tables in Access.
What causes this unexpected problem?

I'm guessing....just guessing...that you are trying to insert a NULL value into a column that doesn't allow NULLs.

I woudl have thought it would work better if you didn't compact it - it doesn't need to grow it all over again when inserting data.
Glad you got it sorted.

Thanks, the thing is before I compacted the database it was 2gb and there was no data in. Probably because everyday the data is deleted and new data is inserted, but never compacted. When I compacted the database it went from 2gb to 700kb
Thanks again for your responses.

"There may be error messages posted before this with more information about the failure"
We'll need to see what the prior error message says to help. The error you posted just says there was an error prior to this one.
