Use the expression

=day(Globals!ExecutionTime) & "."
& month(Globals!ExecutionTime) & "."
& year(Globals!ExecutionTime)

You will need to replace Globals!ExecutionTime with your Parameter!Name

Yep, would be using the format function... create your text box, and then add an expression which is the formatted date

=Format(Parameters!start_date.Value,"dd.mm.yyyy")     or can use MMM for actual month such as Jun

I'm all for getting different perspectives on various solutions to a problem, but what exactly is different about your suggestion Mark?

about 2 hours - it would seem... and yours did not exist when I opened it (tend to open around 10 at time). Took longer on a different SQL answer - didn't realise it was a whole 2 hours though... It happens.

besides mine is wrong it has mm for months and mm is minutes, whereas yours has MM which is months.

Something squirrely must have happened with the EE servers. If you look at the time stamps the delay was actually 4 days & 2 hours (which is why I was wondering about your post). No worries then...
