Required - Polish language version of the Microsoft Text-to-Speech (TTS) Engine

Does Microsoft have a Polish language version of its TTS Engine that I can install and use instead of the built-in English language default version (which is built in to Windows XP, Server 2003, etc)?

If yes, is it a simple question of installing and then selecting the desired version in the Speech Control Panel applet?

If no, any suggestions for a suitable replacement? Again, would a 3rd party TTS engine simply plug-in to the o/s and be selectable via the Speech applet?

Thanks for your quick reply. I have left a VM for them to get back to me.

The use for this product will be in an inbound call centre. The call centre software uses the built-in Microsoft TTS engine to render text to speech in an IVR system. Would it be fairly straightforward to replace the MS TTS with, say, RealSpeak? Or am I looking at a world of pain?

well what can i say about that lolz... before going ahead check with the company go for som e demo and then make a decision... i am trying to find reviews on the internet about them or other TTS but cant...
no pain no gain
Other TTS engines which could be suitable are from Loquando and Acapela. I am waiting for responses from them.

I will check with the call centre software publisher (Stratasoft) and the various TTS providers, but do you (or anyone else) have experience of installing non-MS TTS engines. Are they essentially "plug-ins" to the o/s, or do they usually have to have custom-coded interfaces to the functional application which will use the engine?
i have heard of philips speech recognition which is quite good and i knew a guy who was using it for german... it has its own SDK, fully SAPI supported to integrate it into your software and all... Loquando is not SAPI supported i think.... but they also do it for call centres... Philips software is not available in polish though... dono or never heard of Acapela...
Thank you for your help with this and sorry for not closing the Q earlier...!
