How do I define a compound primary key?

Is it possible to define a compound primary key on a table with mysql nt community version 5.0.45?  If so, how is it done?

I want doc_id and doc_id_seq to form a compound key.  An attempt to add a non-unique value of these two combined fields will be rejected as a duplicate key.
