Why is there no available disks to add to the storage pool?

Last Modified: 2011-10-19
I am attempting to setup the storage pool and and there are no disks for me to select.  The server is setup with one RAID 5 array containing a C Partition for the OS and the rest available for DPM.  I tried converting the Disk to Dynamic.  Do I need a separate array for DPM or is there a way to make this work?

I have the same issue.
The disk is dynamic.
What do you mean by making disk active ???

Also, I checked the technet article, however in 'ADD DISK TO STORAGE POOL' box in the left col. there is no disk to select.

Please advice.

You cannot use a partition that is located on the same array as your system OS.  DPM will only allow you to add an entire array to a storage pool
