PERC 4/SC Controller 0, Array Disk 0:0 failed.

Last Modified: 2010-08-05
I have a Dell PowerEdge 1600SC running Raid 5 with 3 drives.  I just received this message: PERC 4/SC Controller 0, Array Disk 0:0 failed.  There are also events in the raid manager that says the drive is degraded.  I am new to RAID and have not worked with repairing it before.  I keep reading about re-seating the drive, but the server is running fine (our file server) and some of the posts show that it doesn't reboot once you try.  So I'm hesitant to just start trying things without getting additional info.  What would be the appropriate steps to take?  BTW, we have a full backup.
