Can I digitally sign a PDF document twice?

kshemankar asked
Last Modified: 2008-07-17
I am developing an ASP.NET application through which I collect data from user and then generate a PDF file using ABCpdf.net component.
Our requirement is that the user will sign the PDF file using his digital signature and upload it back to the server for storage in database.
I want to ensure that when the pdf is generated for the user, he should not try to change it in anyway. He should just sign it digitally and upload.

I want to know, if I can digitally sign the pdf during its generation on the server and then the user signs it again after downloading?

You are also welcome to suggest alternative ideas fulfilling my requirement of prevention of tampering of pdf file before signing it.
