Need to recover data off encrypted hardrive.

I have a laptop that the drive is encrypted with pointsec.  when starting up the laptop it will not boot and says, NTLDR is missing, press any key to restart.  this problem is a result from trying to fix the encrypted MBR.  Is there any way to fix the pointsec'ed MBR or recover the data off the hardrive in any other way?  Thanks

You probably have to get in touch with checkpoint to do that, but if you haven't saved the encryption keys on separate media somewhere I doubt you will be able recover the data.

I do have the keys, however, since the mbr is ruined, the hardrive does not know it is encrypted.  I would like to contact the vendor but we no longer work with them so we do not get the support anymore.  Any other recomedations??
You could try installing the software to a separate HD and then connect the bad disk as a 2nd HD to it, Now you might be able to get access to the bad HD.

There is no way you can retreive the Data. As the MBR is corrupted. Ideally you need to create and ISO file from the encrypted *.rec file of Pointsec. Which should been copied and kept on a diffrent media.
Then boot the system with that CD and enter User name and password which should be provided by your company helpdesk L2. This way you will be able to decrypt the drive and then attach that HDD as slave drive and copy data
But your case i should say Data is lost
