hi All,

we are usingwindows server 2003 environment.

we develop a web application for one of the our client.issue is that how can i test thisweb application in lan environment on different bandwidth.means ican set this bandwidth when our server is kept on remote location and our client amchine acces it through vpn here we can set the bandwidth but hat happen when test server is kept on my sight and my testing team want to test application on different bandwidth.(in a lan environment)

this is good but can u tell more better  like i need one tool who can control lan traffic between two lan connected pc(one to one pc or one to many pc in lan environment.

Well you can install this on one PC with policies created to restrict BW on specific ports, this way 1st LAN PC becomes your web server with specific BW of 1-2 Mbps or whatever you like.

You can access your web application running on this PC from other LAN PC.

Experience will be same as any DSL or dialup with specifc BW.

You can monitor traffic on instaleld application console.

on local server side we are using 1gbps lan card and on client side we r using 100mbps lan card can i controll the data trnsfer speed between these two.
