I create a new user, and assigned &quot;serveradmin&quot; as server roles. &nbsp;That should have the max rights, right?<br />

Also want to confirm the way to specify the password for this sa equivalent account:<br />

I tried the above steps, but when I created a test DSN in ODBC, and tried the account and password, I could not connect. &nbsp;
