error msg

Last Modified: 2013-11-26
yes I am trying to verify if this or else the code works correct but the label always displays the Labelred msg
and ideas how I can display the label if this if not then display this.

If its right or wrong it displays this  error

If "abc".Length < 9 Then
                        With lblMessage
                            lblMessage.Visible = True
                            .CssClass = "labelRed"
                            .Text = "Sorry there was an Error "
                        End With
                    End If

always the second one. even if the first one is correct

If "abc".Length > 9 Then
                        With lblMessage2
                            lblMessage2.Visible = True
                            .CssClass = "labelGreen"
                            .Text = "file Has Been processed."
                        End With
                    End If
                    If "abc".Length < 9 Then
                        With lblMessage
                            lblMessage.Visible = True
                            .CssClass = "labelRed"
                            .Text = "Sorry there was an Error "
                        End With
                    End If

Watch Question

The Length of "abc" (a string value) is 3 (three chars in this string). So it will always be smaller than 9.
