Recipient Policy (Delete items) not being applied?

Hi Experts,

Our spam filter "tags" all incoming spam and then Outlook moves it upon arrival in a destination mailbox to a specific folder.  I'd like to have items within this folder deleted that are more than 14 days old.  I've configured what I thought was the correct recipient policy and enabled the mailbox manager to run nightly.  It runs and I get a report in the AM...but no messages are deleted?  Here's my setup and a cut/paste of the report.

What am I missing?

ESM:
1 - Recipient Policy:  Default policy was left intact.  A new policy was added with a priority of 1.  Title is "delete quarantine items."  Filter rules select 2 mailboxes (for testing purposes, once its working I will apply it to all mailboxes).  Under E-Mail Addresses (Policy) I have selected all SMTP addresses.  Under Mailbox Manager Settings (Policy) I have selected the folder which contains the items (It does have a " * " in its name...hmmm...could that be the issue?) and set the age to 14 days and any size.   I have also selected "deleted items" and set that to 30 days, any size.  Exclude specific message classes is NOT selected.  Under "when processing a mailbox" the setting is "delete immediately."

2 - Servers-->Properties --> Mailbox Management:  I have set the "start mailbox management process" to use a custom schedule which is 1am everyday.  Reporting is "send detail report to administrator."

Here's a cut/paste of the report. I did notice that there is no reference to the folder that the items should be deleted from...?  Its also not deleting any items from the "deleted items" folder.

Once you created the policy, did you right-click it and choose to "apply this policy now"?

I would assume so as its running each night?...but not doing any deleting.

I have done it again right now just to be safe, so we will see tonight unless someone has a better idea?

thx.
The Mailbox Manager is running and is performing the tasks on the policy accordingly. But if the policy has not been applied, the Manager sees no objects to perform the tasks on and returns a zero. You may have applied the policy and there is some other issue in the way...but just thought I would double-check to see if the policy was applied. Hopefully it will work tonight for you.
Unfortunately...it didn't do anything again last night.  It said it processed 2 mailboxes (correct) but didn't delete anything.

Anyone else have any ideas?
I am having the same problem, and it seems to be specific to certain Users. I am able to process some mailboxes successfully, however when other mailboxes are processed, the report shows that no messages have been affected.

I am attempting to permanently delete any emails which are older than 365 days, and it is not applying this policy to the emails in question.

Steps I took:
1.)Created new Policy > Selected Mailbox Manager settings
2.)Named Policy and under Filter rules, found and selected mailbox in Users, Contacts, and Groups
3.)Under the Settings, I removed size restrictions, and set the Age to be 365 for all folders.
4.)Selected generate Report Only, and hit apply, then ok.
5.)Selected policy, right-click and "Apply policy Now. . . "
6.) Selected my email server and selected "Start Mailbox Management process"

Results: The messages that are older than 365 days are not affected.

Any insights would be appreciated.
Unfortunately, as you can see...I haven't got this issue resolved myself and no one seems to have any answers for us.

:(
Anyone...?
