Recover mail from a mail store backup
I have a sbs 2003 server withe exchange, one user has lost or deleted some mail. I have a backup from a month ago that should have the needed emails, I have restored the exchange files from the backup to a folder in the server and need to know if I should dissmount the current store and mount the backup store and use xmerge to recover the users mail box then dissmount the backup and remount the org store. Will this work, I dont want to chance killing the working current store.
