I have a few pictures to merge into one for a web page. Please recommend safe freeware download for merging images. Thanks.

@Daydreams: Good point about Gimp. I have licenses for all the usual editors, and I sometimes forget Gimp.
@ksfolk: What computing platform do you use for this? It will influence your choice of editors. Also, if you want to tell us more about your needs, you could post the images here and any one of us could easily return a merged image to you.
Best, ~Ray

Thanks Ray!
ksfok, I answered your question specifically and yet you graded me with a B. If you had needed more information you could ask before closing your question, please see about grading here:

Let me know if you'd like to change the grade here, and I can get a Moderator to do that.
Thanks Ray!

@ksfok: I completely agree with Daydreams comment on grading. To quote the guidelines, "an answer is worth an A, unless it doesn't resolve your issue." You asked for a recommendation of a safe free download and you got a solid recommendation. The appropriate EE practice is to award an "A" grade. You can easily change the award; it costs you nothing more.
