I'm a total flex newbie but have done lots of coldfusion in the past.

Now i'm trying to set up a Flex project that can access a set of cfc components that are hosted on my CF8 / apache  dev server which is on another physical computer in my home network.

I started by setting a project up to play in flash player with the application server type set to Coldfusion

when I enter:

Web Root --> /opt/lampp/htdocs

Root URL --> 192.168.1.101

and click "Validate Configuration" I then get an error message saying "The selected web root folder does not exist"
