Cannot create a JDBC connection to an Oracle database?

Using a connection URL of jdbc:oracle:thin:@po:1521:yadayada
Database Classname oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver

I get the error message "JDBC Driver not found"

I'm a complete newbie in this area; I'm merely trying to modify a Crystal Report that already exists but right now I can't even open it properly because the connection it's been designed to run against cannot be opened on the machine on which I can do this development. Using the machine on which the report normally runs instead is NOT an option, alas...

Thanks
