How can I extract all public folder email addresses from Exchange 2003 server?
Hello,
I've got an Exchange 2003 server with hundreds of public folders. I need to somehow extract all the email addresses associated with the public folders and save it to a text file. I've looked at various LDAP tools, but I'm not able to get a piece of software to export all email addresses.
I believe the LDAP attribute I'm after is 'proxyaddresses'. Can anyone please suggest a method to accomplish this?

This solution is only available to members.
To access this solution, you must be a member of Experts Exchange.
Open the exported file.
Check the last entry in the list.
Check the properties of the next folder in your public folder list - probably this folder will through an error while opening the properties - possible SMTP error
To fix this, either you need to Mail-enable or mail-disable that folder.
Hint: To find the probamatic folder easily, before clicking OK, have a look at the folder at which it got stuck in the tool.

Thanks, the tool is exactly what I was after. I believe there's some folders that need email disabling/enabling, but your suggestion was perfect for what I wanted.
Thanks :)

Thanks for the suggestion, it looks like the tool is exactly what I'm after.
I tried running it against my public folders, but I'm encountering an error on certain public folders. I've attached the error message. Have you encountered this error before or know a way around it? It's stopping me from running the export against all my public folders.
