vmware server isolate 2 vm's to see each other
I'm looking for information on how to have 2 VM's on my host OS talk to each other, but not the other VM's on the vmnet0 bridged connection.
If I assign both VM's to vmnet 2 and give them all addresses on the vmnet2 subnet, they can see/ping/browse the host OS, but not each other.
I can't put them on the bridged vmnet0 with the other VM's because they are non-production machines that would conflict with machines running on vmnet0
Is there a way to have these 2 VM's talk to each other and each other only, without seeing the other VM's on this host?
Thanks.

So if I have several machines on a vmnet[n], they can't see each other? If I put a second nic in the host, do I create a bridged vmnet on the second nic? Would they be isolated from the vm's on the current nic?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Thanks for the input, sorry for the delay.
Another alternative would be to use host only networking where your VMs can only talk to each other and the host.
