How do I take the date from Calendar.SelectedDate and input it into a SQL DB datetime field?

Last Modified: 2008-07-15
I am trying to take a date picked from an asp calendar using the selecteddate value and put it in my INSERT statement to put it in a field that stores datetime.

When I execute my code I get a date of 1/14/1900.

Here is my code:

SQLstr = "INSERT INTO projectData (project_ID,date_Added)
SQLstr = SQLstr + "VALUES(" & CInt(TextBox_ProjectID.Text) & "," & CDate(Calendar_DateAdded.SelectedDate) & "')"

Thanks for any help.
