Experts,

        I need to document how someone could view audit logs for our environment. I set the audit parameter as follows:
Set Oracle_SID=firstdb
Sign onto SQLPLUS
SQL>ALTER SYSTEM SET audit_trail=os SCOPE=SPFILE;
SYSTEM ALTERED.
SQL>SHUTDOWN
SQL>STARTUP

SQL>audit INSERT ANY TABLE by sacds by access;
SQL>audit DROP ANY TABLE by sacds by access;
SQL>audit DELETE ANY TABLE by sacds by access;

I have the destination file set to C:\Oracle\...\firstdb\audit-logs.

I do not have access to my work lab and need to get the rest of our documentation completed. Is it safe to say that any INSERT, DROP, and DELETE actions perfomed by sacds will be recorded in audit-logs.txt AND also written to the Event Viewer\Applications? Will the logs be in a readable format?

Thanks, MissyMadi
