I have a user that needs to be able to VPN into our network to work. &nbsp;He used to have a Sonicwall Tele3 but it got fried. &nbsp;I replaced it with a TZ150, but the user could not get that to work, so hardware isn't really an option. &nbsp;I gave him Sonicwall Global VPN software and he set it up. &nbsp;He is able to get a connection to our network and see the resources he needs but the connection drops intermittently. &nbsp;When the connection drops, he can still access the internet, so his local network connection is fine. &nbsp;We have multiple users that are able to connect without a problem. &nbsp;He is running Windows 2000 with all the updates. &nbsp;Any help is appreciated.

Intermittent VPN Connection

A virtual private network (VPN) is a network that uses a public telecommunication infrastructure, such as the Internet, to provide remote offices or travelling users access to a central organizational network securely. VPNs encapsulate data transfers using secure cryptographic methods and other security mechanisms to ensure that only authorized users can access the network and that the data cannot be intercepted.
