How to keep remote desktop connection live

I used to be able to connect via remote desktop to server and reconnect to same session even after time out.
These days I have to connect with separate connection and reset my original session.
If there are no free sessions available, I get locked out (win2k sbs only has two licenses), this causes real problems. Can anyone suggest how to deal with this and avoid timeout? Where/how/what to re-configure? Is it under terminal services properties?

Thanks. I have checked properties and they look the same as your suggestion.
There must be some other setting or reason for timeouts?
Well, then its the License
The computer have reached the maximum number of allowed connections.

try to use below as command line for RDC
%SystemRoot%\system32\mstsc.exe /console

As, I presume you wont like anyone else using it when u are logged on

Also, install the Windows 2003 admin tools on an XP Pro workstation

Yes I understand that license can be exceeded but why can't I connect to the same session (resume).
I have noticed that if my session stays in the foreground and my screen saver is off, it doesn't seem to time out. If I minimize session and screen goes to power save mode, I loose the connection and I can't re-connect to the same one. I tried the command line but this didn't help.
