generally speaking, when you define multiple gateways for a single host, you're likely begging for trouble unless you've comprehensively defined your host's route tables...<br />

if webserver1 hosts services on 1.1.1.1/24 gw=1.1.1.254 and 2.2.2.1/24 gw=2.2.2.254 consider the following:<br />
<br />
1. &nbsp;you can only have 1 default gateway... &nbsp;assess your traffic and determine which one should be the default...<br />
2. &nbsp;if subnet 3.3.3.0/24 is talking to 2.2.2.1 and 2.2.2.254 isn't the default gateway for your webserver, you better have a static route entry to the 3.3.3.0/24 network via the 2.2.2.254 gateway

thank you, I am accessing the web server but the pages are timing out. &nbsp;Everything on the web server is set to <a href="http://kmmws" rel="ugc">http://kmmws</a>.......... the frames, pictures and all links. &nbsp;Could it be timing out on the load. &nbsp;I found this out because <a href="http://kmmws" rel="ugc">http://kmmws</a>&nbsp;does not work but <a href="http://kmmws/home" rel="ugc">http://kmmws/home</a>&nbsp;will give me the directory of all page and pictures.

so I asume that you use the same FQDN for both IPs which obviously results in routing problems, means that you request a page from the web server using one IP while the web server sends the response out the other IP

I have apache 2.2 set up with one ip scheme, 157.116.123.0, correctly but we have many. &nbsp;I am just trying to get two different ip schemes to connect to same web server. On the web server I am assigning the network adapter two different ips and two different gateways. With this I can remote and ping but not bring my website up. &nbsp;So how is this possible?<br />
