I have been making my way through your very helpful replies. &nbsp;Changing the IP address really doesn't do the trick; in that instance you need to keep the ActionTec as the DHCP server and basically use the Linksys as a wireless access point.<br />
<br />
So, now I need to check out RobWill's suggestion about bridging the devices--I will try this over the weekend after checking out the link. &nbsp;I will also confirm that WAN port can handle 15Mbps. &nbsp;

I have Verizon FiOS service which came with an ActionTec router. &nbsp;I would like to REPLACE the FiOS router with a Wireless-N router with gigabit ethernet.<br />

I can make the system work by plugging the ActionTec router into the LAN port on the Linksys (and putting the WAN cable into the ActionTec). &nbsp;My problem is that I then cannot configure the Linksys router. &nbsp;Every time I enter 192.168.1.1 into my browser, I end up at the Actiontec router. &nbsp;They both seem to have the same IP address.<br />
