Excel 2007 hangs when saving or autosaving to a network drive. I'm working with huge fils - 30K rows and about 100 columns. I'm saving as *.xls due other users not on 2007.

Excel 2007 hangs when saving (autosave) to the network drive. I'm saving as .xls format because other users are not on Excel 2007. I get a white screen and it could take up to 20 minutes to save. I'm working with 30K rows and 100 columns.

I had a similar problem with an HP printer and the flash drive built into it even though it was turned off it would hold up the system on file opens and saves, I disconnected the drive and all went back to normal.

No - I get a white screen for about 20 minutes while saving a excel file to the network drive.
