when I was on the phone with adobe the first person I talked to verified I had a valid serial number. He then had me try typing the serial # using the numbers on the keyboard not the numbers on the number pad. I tried that and it didn't work. He then had me run some adobe clean up script thing 4 times using script level 2. Restarted the computer then tried it again and still nothing.

can you just try installing it on another machine just to make sure that the issue is with the serial or with this machine itself?

Just tried isntalling it on a similar machine with the same error msg. It doesn't seem to want to install.

user was running adobe acrobat prof 7.0 on a dell optiplex gx 270 on OS windows XP sp 2. The computer started having problems so we gave her different computer. Another dell optiplex gx 270 but on Windows xp sp 3. We un installed adobe prof 7.0 from her old computer. When I tried to install the software on her new computer it gave me 'invalide serial #&quot; error msg. I called adobe and they verified that it was a valid serial number but they no longer support acrobat version 7. &nbsp;So I tried un installing windows service pack 3 to see if that would do trick. Same error msg. Can anyone help me?
