This is simply not true. &nbsp;Not only is ViewPoint poorly written, but apparently, it's poorly documented as well.<br />

ViewPoint now ships with MySQL, NOT MS SQL lite as previously indicated. &nbsp;It also installs a copy of tomcat. &nbsp;In general, ViewPoint is a total resource hog. &nbsp;I am aware that you can modify the configuration to point to a different datastore on a different machine, but I believe the front end does have to reside on Windows.

Our company is looking at getting Viewpoint for our TZ170. After looking at the requirements I'm wondering if for a database I could use MySQL on an apache server? with our current Win 2003 server we don't have 100GB free or 2 GB ram, and am wondering if there's anyway around it.

Can I install Viewpoint on an Apache server?
