Webbrowser Authorization Lost

I have a VB 6 app that automates pages on an Intranet site.  Up until now the pages that are run internally are accessible just as they would be via IE.  Not sure if it's coincidence or not, but in this new office configuration (using Vista), when the program attempts to pull up the target page, it instead gets the intranet log in page.  The user has already signed into the Intranet log in page prior to running the VB app.  No proxy settings are shown in IE.  Does anyone have a solution for this situation?
