PDA / Blackberry Sync to outlook on Terminal Services
Hello Experts,
Our managers would like to upgrade their cell phones to a PDA or BlackBerry.
Main goal is to be able to send and receive company email.
Blackberry Enterprise Server is too costly and therefore out of the question.
Question is, which one should I go with that will enable users to sync their device with their outlook?
All my users are on Terminal Services.
We also don't use OWA.
Thank you in advance

if you have Exchange server 2003 (with sp2) than you can do all that for free with Push technology
Thank you for your reply Mikal,
I do have Exchange SP2. So I guess if it is being pushed through the exchange server, then it doesn't matter whether the users have local station or on terminal services. Cool
But do you know if both PDA or Blackberry will work with the Push technology?
Are you currently using this push tech in your organization?
I want to make sure that if I tell my managers to go to the Verizon store and pick the device they want,
I would be able to sync their email...

blackberry use the BES while the Windows Mobile uses the Exchange to do the actual push

ccosby, thanks for the info.
the license for blackberry server is 99 per user, but the software is $4,000. Too expensive.
So, I guess that leaves me with Activesync / Push Technology.
Do you know where I can find step by step documentation on how to setup OWA and SSL cert ?
If I am going this route, then is it safe for me to tell the managers to pick a PDA and not Blackberry?
