SBS 2003 - Remote Web Workplace not working - HTTP 500 Error Internal Server Error message received

Hi all,

We have a SBS 2003 SP2 machine running the remote web workplace feature.  A colleague removed .net framework 2 whilst uninstalling another program.  This has caused the remote web workplace to stop functioning.  When trying to connect to it i get the "HTTP 500 Error Internal Server Error message.  If i take off friendly HTTP error messages i receive this:

A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed.

I need to get this up and running.  What can i try?

Rerun the Configure Email and Internet Connection Wizard: SBS Manager --> To Do --> Connect to the Internet.
Leave the certificate in place, unless you need to generate another one.
Make sure you keep your settings as far as Internet access to RWW features.

.Net 2.0 has been reinstalled but it wont let me install 1.1 as it thinks its already installed.

The reinstall of RWW is an option.  Choosing the intranet component under SBS components will reinstall the RWW right?
Yes.

Update, SBS wont let me reinstall the intranet portion of SBS components.  It fails with this error:

An error occurred while installing Windows SharePoint Services and creating your intranet site.

Also tells me to reinstall the administration part also.  Tried this to no avail.  An exclamation next to server configuration says:

Permissions could not be properly configured for the Fax Operators security group. Run Setup again and choose to reinstall the Administration component.

Any suggestions?
