Your problems is probabiliy due to the dynamic ip you get on the internet and a lot of ISP refuse mail from dynamic IP.<br />

Use a smarthost to bypass the problem.<br />
In exchange config there is the possibility to route all of you outgoing mail to a specific SMTP server on Internet.<br />
You should config this option to use your ISP SMTP to deliver emails.<br />

Is network solution your ISP or your hosting provider ?<br />
In the second case you havent' the echange server in your network.<br />
<br />
If exchange is in your network (case 1) &nbsp;you have to put your ISP smtp server (you must have this information. it is part of the contract whit your ISP) as the smarthost for exchange.<br />
example: mail.myadslprovider.com (personalize at your needs)<br />
<br />
If exchange is hosted on the provider's network you have to set the hosting provider SMTP as smarthost.<br />
example: mail.myhostingprovider.com<wbr /> (personalize at your needs)<br />
You have also to tell exchange to relay the mail from your accounts and this can be done in exchange config.<br />

Network Solution is the hosting provider and our Ex2k3 server is in our local network (keep in mind that Ex is not live hosted we have a pop connector for exchange which pull the mail from network solutions)<br />

Put the smtp server of your ISP, the company that give you adsl connectivity to the office.<br />
It should be something like &nbsp; &nbsp;mail.adslprovider.com &nbsp; &nbsp;or &nbsp; &nbsp; smtp.adslprovider.com<br />
Ask them this info if you don't have it. Be sure that this server don't ask you for a username and a password. If it is so than you have to put these info in exchange to make it send emails.<br />
To test if it is the right smtp you can config an outlook express or other client to send mail via that smtp. If the mail client can send messages then exchange can do it too.<br />

Even after putting the mail.adslprovider.com (in my case is mail.emirates.net.ae) &nbsp;ipaddress in smarthost , we still could not able to send emails to gmail and few other domains, the same error comes up. The message returns back with a message immediately. the messgs rejected is more than previous So i returned back to Send using DNS.<br />

Now how to solve this issue for gmail and others.<br />

This is the impliest test to verify your Isp relay:<br />

config an outlook express or other client to send mail via that smtp. If the mail client can send messages to gmail and others the trouble is still yours.<br />

Btw in exchange where did you put the smarthost ?<br />

There are two places to set it. The send connector and the virtual smpt server.<br />
<br />
Did you try both (one at time) ?<br />

I putted the ipaddress in send connector, Forward all mail through this connector to the following smart hosts &nbsp;( Found under Routing Group - First Storage Group - Connectors - connectorname.)<br />

Try to make the outlook express connection as i told you before. In this way we can be sure that this way is the right one.<br />

I checked with outlook express and mails goes fine with it.<br />
But with exchange it still the same problem,, i put the ip address in virtual smtp server - delivery - advanced - smart host with the closed square brackets [ ] our adsl service provider smtp address is mailv.emirates.net.ae - &nbsp;this belongs to Etisalat. they are ISP too.
