asked on
outlook.ost file
Following on from a earlier question, where I'm using outlook 2007 with exchange 2003 and i can receive and send mail but if I try to reply or forward a mail I get the error you do not have permission to send as this user. I have looked through outlook and I have noticed that i do not have an outlook.osf file. How can I re create one
That has nothing to do with an .osf file. You obviously are trying to send as a user other than yourself. You need to give yourself permissions to send on behalf of the user.

The OST's an offline folder file.
You can choose to use Cached Exchange mode or setup Offline Folders and it should create one for you.
hope this helps
