I am trying to fix a friends laptop, its a dell m1330.  He wanted to install xp on as it came with vista, however in the process i think he may of deleted some partitions.

I have tried reinstalling windows, when i did this there was only one partition available which the size of the whole drive so the recovery partition is gone.

I am getting an error message "Invalid partition table"

Please Help.
