customising drop down menu's

Were trying to customise the look of our dropdown menus to a bespoke appearance, we have had some success as of yet no solution that will work cross browser I've attached a jpg image of what the we want the drop down to look like and would be grateful for any help,

it just says "In Internet Explorer, the select lists are unstyled, but the checkboxes and radio buttons still look and function beautifully"

have you used the script before?

unfortunatly it uses a different frame work to what the sites built in. We use jQuery

Hmm, here is a jQuery one that seems to work in IE too

cheers, that one might solve the problem, the only draw back is that the functionality is slightly limited, you cant use a key press to jump to a selection

How about getting the developer to write one from scratch?
