It just crashed again and this is the error message from Visual Studio Just-In-Time Debugger:<br />

<br />
Then within Visual Studio I get the following message:<br />

Unhandled exception at 0x008341d5 in Dreamweaver.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x00000000.<br />
<br />
I don't know if these help - they mean nothing to me!

Can you accomplish creating the recordset from within Visual Studio?<br />

DW does not handle ASP.NET all that well and I'm wondering if you found a flaw in the program. &nbsp;If VS craps out too, then we could be looking at a more fundamental problem with your system.

I've been using Dreamweaver with ASP for quite a while now and have never had any problems before.<br />

The only thing I can think of is that we recently changed to SQL Server 2005 (from 2000). &nbsp;I don't know if that would have had any impact?<br />

Its just weird that I've searched the internet and can't find anyone else reporting the same problem!

There might be a difference in the way stored procedures are handled. &nbsp;Try creating a recordset without using SP?

I am having similar issues with DW CS3. Well from the aspect that DW doesn't like Commands/Stored Procedures when working with ASP. I have been using Dreamweaver for many years now, and I have also used it in combination with either SQL Server 2000 or 2005. I did use Access years ago, but quickly stopped. I find that DW MX 2004 works perfectly with Stored Procedures, however when I try to add a command to my page and then drag part of the recordset onto the page it crashes every time.

I have the same problem and I installed the sql server 2005 as well, does anyone know how we can fix that problem?,<br />
This error happened when I'm running *.ASP pages, the error is 2172.<br />
<br />
If I change the extension format to .aspx, I can open the file but is so annoying to work with this bug... I'm working in ASP classic.<br />

Well I haven't come up with any solution and am still experiencing this problem . . . think I've just got used to waiting for several minutes for the stored procedures to load!

First the stored procedures took ages to load - it seemed to load the system stored procedures as well (I never noticed this happening before).<br />
Then when I selected a stored procedure it didn't add the parameters.<br />
I manually added 1 parameter but then it wouldn't let me add the second. &nbsp;I had to exit the data bindings window and open it again to add the second parameter.<br />

The file activity window keeps appearing in my task bar - this is another thing that didn't happen before.<br />

I tried reinstalling Dreamweaver but I'm stuck with the same problem.<br />

Has anyone else encountered this? &nbsp;I'm getting really frustrated!<br />
