How to set up Exchange SMTP for mail relay with BT
Setting up our own domain to pass through BT.
BT have enabled an allow mail relay for our domain.
We can no longer send mail out SMTP through mail.btconnect.com.
How do I set up the SMTP connector to authenticate with BT?
Mail is held up in the Outbound Queue with error message "Remote SMTP service rejected AUTH negotiation".
I have tested the set up using Outlook Express on the server and both collection from our domain name ISP and sent mail authenticated to BT works correctly. ie we have the correct passwords etc.

Ask the administrators of mail.btconnect.com to add the IP of your server(s) that you use to send messages to their allowed relay list.
