The short answer is yes, you just have to buy the appropriate hardware. There are several products available that will allow you to set up an all-in-one solution behind your DSL or Cable modem so that you can either attach a LAN device via ethernet or use WiFi. The trick is having what you want available for you to purchase, which depends on where you are in the world. Some of these solutions are not going to be available outside of the US because of the tech export restrictions. Check with your local computer stores and find out what is out there, and then decide how much money you want to spend. You may even be able to buy a cable or DSL modem outright that does what you need, and cut the modem rental cost from your cable bill. I've been doing that and the modem paid for itself within the first year of my service (have had my current service for 3 years now and counting).

I'm sorry I am not recommending specific hardware for you, but I don't know what is available in your area. You will have to do that homework on your own, unless one of our other E-E members also lives in your locale.
