If you have connected to the exchange server from multiple machines (inc laptop) and have asked outlook to cache your email, use one of those systems.<br />
<br />
First disconnect that workstation/laptop from network. Open your outlook and export the cached contacts list to a .pst. Import this PST after connecting again to the exchange server.

I was trying to share a large contact list by placing it in a public folder. When i draged this contact list from my contacts it actually removed it and placed it in my public folder. I then accidentally deleted that contact list out of my public folder becuase i thought i was seeing duplicates. Anyways it's gone now and i can't find it. When i go into system manager on the exchange server i can see my public folder but there is nothing there. I have tried this recover deleted items tool and i also have looked for a .pst in the outlook folder but neither exist. Is there anything else i could try. I was told that one would have to find a backup of the private mailbox store and restore the whole thing. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
