WSUS 3.0 SP1 will not install on Windows 2008
I downloaded the latest WSUS file, WSUSSetup_30SP1_x86, off the Microsoft website. When I go to run it on my Windows 2008 DC and select "Full server installation including Administration Console," I receive the error:
"Windows Server Updates Service 3.0 SP1 Setup cannot continue. Please resolve the following issues, and then run the Setup again.
Internet Information Services (IIS) or additional ISS role services must be installed."
I have IIS up and running on this machine, only roles IIS does not have are the IIS 6 Management Compatibility and FTP Publishing Service, everything else is up and running. Also, WSUS is not natively avavilable for installation under the Roles Summary area (unlike what my Windows Server 2008: Unleashed reference book says). Anyone know how to fix this?
