Lotus Notes shared mailbox opens twice.
I have a group of users that access a group mailbox. When any of them click to access the box it opens twice creating two tabs across the top. How do I stop this?

It does not happen to me because I am not a member of the group that has access to the mailbox. As far as replacing the design: Error stated user was not the admin for mail file.
So, user doesn't have manager access.
From Admin client, replace the design and you should be an admin to do this.
I mean you need to have admin rights.

Where exactly do the users click to open the mailbox?

The user navigate to their workspace and select the shared mailbox. Two things may happen when this is done:
1. The mailbox opens but the contents are not visible until the user clicks the inbox which then opens it on a new tab.
or
2. The inbox simply opens twice on two tabs.

The Lotus Notes administrators do not wish to pursue this solution ay further as the environment will be migrated to Exchange/Outlook in the near future.
If your admin's has decided to move to Exchange, then it is not our problem. You need to look into the solutions we have provided and assign points. Think of us....how much time we are spending in providing solutions. Pls split the points.

If needed do a replace design if this is a standard mail template.
