I've been noticing in the last week that numerous clients of ours have had their outlook and internet explorer applications go into a state of 'not responding' at various times during the day. I've run repairs of the applications and even re-installed them, but with no success. Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, is this due to a patch deploy?
Are these clients in an Organization(s) on a Network?
Or are these Clients home / home business users connected to a Broadband Connection?
How long does this "state of not responding' last?
Does the connectivity return on its own or does something need to be done to restore the connectivity?
these clients are all on a network. Once Outlook becomes non-responsive it does not come back. You have to kill the process and then start it again. The only way that we have been able to fix the issue has been to fully re-install the software. However, some users have special customizations that they will likely lose after a re-installation.
