Can i install exhnge server 2007 64bit on server 2003 32 bit

I just built a server with Server 2003 R2 and it is 32bit. I stuck my 64bit Exchange server 2007 cd in and it says i can not install onthis machine.

Does that mean i have to install 64bit in the OS? I have those CD's just time consuming to start over.

Yep - exchange 2007 is a 64bit app. It can only be installed on 64bit hardware running a 64bit OS (2003 or 2008), there is a 32bit version of 2007 server available from MSDN but its NOT for use in a production environment - its for testing and training ONLY.
